We all will get together at the airport in Johannesburg at 11 am on Monday morning. You will meet the tour guides and the rest of the group. If you are flying-in from a different City, please allow up to 4 hours connection time in Johannesburg before our flight departs. This gives you significant time to pickup your luggage meet the team and to board the flight to Thailand. We will start our journey to Thailand.

We will arrive in Phuket on Tuesday afternoon. Remember, Phuket is 5 hours ahead of South Africa, so we will travel a little bit into the future. Our airport transfer will take us to the Crib Hotel in Patong. More info here. You will have some time to relax in your room. We will have a Welcome Dinner in Patong where you will have an introduction to our tour with amazing local Thai cuisine. For those who have energy after the flight can take on Bangla Road.

This is our first full day in Thailand. After having breakfast at the hotel we will do an Island Tour where our first stop will be Karon Viewpoint. This place allows for spectacular views of the pristine Phuket coastline, such as Kata Noi, Kata Yai, and Karon beaches. We will then head to the south of Phuket and stop at Promthep Cape where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Andaman Sea. We will then head to Big Budha. The Big Buddha is one of the most revered landmarks on the entire Island. The viewing site also offers a fantastic 360-degree view of Phuket. After visiting the immense 45m figure we will have lunch then head to the Wat Chalong Temple. The largest and most popular of all temples in Phuket. You will also have some time to walk around Old Phuket Town and learn more about the history of Phuket. The afternoon we will be visiting the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. You will have an enjoyable opportunity to spend quality time with elephants in their natural home as well as gain an insight into their history and behaviour. You will get muddy with the elephants at the mud spa as you apply a healthy cosmetic mud treatment to their skin. You will walk with the elephants to a nearby river and join them in the water for a refreshing bath. You will swim and help bathe and brush the elephants while they wade through and play in the water. At night you will have free time to explore and party in Patong.

We will have breakfast and then head to the north of Phuket where we will get onto a boat to Phang Nga Bay. Phang Nga Bay is part of the Thai National Marine Park, therefore it is pure nature at its best! This is also the location where the James Bond and Hangover movie was filmed. There is 42 island and islets in the Bay. On our way to Phang Nga Bay, we will stop at a small island with a beautiful beach where you can swim and test your kayaking skills. After that, we will arrive at one of the most famous Islands in Phang Nga Bay, Panak Island. We will kayak through the caves and to the lagoons, see some monkeys, bats, walking fish, and notable rock formations. Buffet Lunch will be served on board including a variety of Thai options and fresh fruit. We will drive-by of the iconic James Bond Island, stopping several minutes for a photo opportunity, but we will not get off here due to always being very crowded. We will arrive at Hong Island where a circle of rocks into the sea surrounds the lagoon. Here we will kayak through the caves to the lagoon and swim in paradise. At night you have the option to go to the Chillva Market in Old Phuket Town or to explore the streets of Patong. We will always end off in the famous Bangla Road.

After breakfast, we will head to the pier and get onto a ferry to the Phi Phi Islands where you will be stunned by the natural beauty on display, as well as enjoy the vast entertainment this island has to offer. We will be staying in the heart of Tonsai Village, a perfect blend of beautiful beaches and festive atmosphere. We will arrive early, so our rooms might not be ready. This gives you the perfect opportunity to have some free time on the island and explore the amazing streets of Tonsai. From 1 pm – 6 pm there will be a pool party in the most amazing setting with an infinity pool overlooking Loh Dalam Bay. You have the night to yourself to enjoy the amazing Phi Phi atmosphere.

We will have breakfast and start our journey to Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh Island. Maya Bay will be our first stop. Maya Bay is set between large protruding cliffs that envelope the bay’s jaw-dropping beauty. You will enjoy some time here to swim, relax, walk around and take in the beauty. We will try to go nice and early to avoid the day-trip crowds coming from Phuket, so we have the beach to ourselves – just like in the movie “The Beach” starring Leonardo Dicaprio. Next, is snorkelling in Loh Somah Bay. This bay slopes down to 30 metres deep on the outskirts of the bay which help show off its impressive fish population. After that, we will visit the magnificent emerald green Phileh Lagoon. The lagoon is surrounded by limestone cliffs and offers the opportunity to jump off the boat and have a relaxing swim among the vast natural Thailand beauty. After that, we head to Monkey Beach where you will be able to chill on the beach with the monkeys. We will then go swimming with sharks in Shark Alley and visit Moo Dee Bay for a nice secluded swimming experience. We will end the trip with lunch at the village in Loh Bagao Bay. You will have some free time in the afternoon before we go to the Phi Phi Viewpoint for sunset. The hike has hundreds of steps and twists, but the end result is an amazing panoramic view of Phi Phi Leh and Phi Phi Don unique to this peak. At night you can do as you please, but you can join us at Reggae Bar to watch some Thai boxing. You will even have the chance to test yourself in the ring with the winner winning a bucket of booze for their table. After that, we will head to the beach party at Slinky’s to enjoy some fire dancing and mechanical bull riding.

After breakfast, we will start our journey to the Gulf Of Thailand. We will take a ferry, then a bus and another ferry to reach Koh Samui. When we arrive you have some free time to relax at the resort. You can decide to take it easy at the resort or join us at the Lamai Sunday Night Market for a local shopping and dining experience.

We will have breakfast right next to the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Thailand, then get ready to tour this magnificent island. We will start our tour at Fisherman’s Village. This former French outpost on Bohphut Beach offers a variety of boutique shops, bars and restaurants. The atmosphere here is unique and it’s nice to walk around the shops. We will then go see Big Buddha. This mighty 12 metres tall Buddha towers above the Samui coast. It is a magnificent golden sculpture and offers a spiritual aesthetic unlike any other on the island for its sheer size and significance. After Big Buddha, we will drive through Chaweng. Our next stop is Lamai where we will have lunch. After that, we will go and swim in the waterfalls and have some fun on the jungle slides. We will drive right around the island to complete our tour. At night we will enjoy sumptuous Thai cuisine with the sand between your toes on the beach in Lamai. After that we will take on Chaweng. We will visit Green Mango street, watch a Ladyboy Show & go party on the beach at Ark Bar.

As with every morning, our day will start with breakfast. We will sleep a bit later to give you the opportunity to recharge your energy. We will ride through the middle of the island. This scenic route is a magical way to explore the amazing views of this island. Our first stop will be at Crystal Bay Beach. Overflowing with jaw-dropping natural beauty, the 250-metre expanse of Silver Beach offers a more relaxed atmosphere than other beaches in Koh Samui. Here you can relax in the sea, have a massage on the beach or kayak in the bay. After we are completely relaxed we will head up the hill to the Jungle Club where we will have lunch and enjoy the spectacular views of Chaweng Bay and the Gulf of Thailand. After lunch, we will explore the South of Samui by riding through the relaxed jungle roads of Taling Ngam. You have the night to yourself.

After breakfast, we will spend the morning in Koh Samui before we take the ferry to the real island paradise of Koh Tao. When we arrive you will have time for yourself to explore Sairee Village. This small cosmopolitan hub is filled with restaurants, bars and shops, offering entertainment from watching fire shows on the beach to an all-night bar hopping atmosphere. At night we will do the “original” Koh Tao Pub Crawl. We will enjoy a remarkably good time as we explore this town and its culture by night. We will have a night full of laughs, new encounters and flowing beverages.

We will have breakfast, then get on a boat to start our snorkel tour around the island. We will first go to Koh Nang Yuan Island. An island made up of three small islands connected by a sand bar. Its stunning scenery has made it a popular feature in books and postcards. You can walk to the viewpoint for amazing views and photo opportunities. We will also relax on the beach and take in the beauty of this pristine little island. After that, we will stop at one of the top three snorkelling places on Koh Tao, Mango Bay for your first snorkel opportunity. After that, we will stop at Hin Wong Bay. A large bay surrounded by boulders. The water here is incredibly clear and there is lots of well preserved coral and abundant marine life. We will then stop at Tanote Bay, where you can have lunch or something to drink. Snorkelling is also excellent here with a great variety of coral and some fairly large fish that can be seen just a few steps into the water. After that, we will stop at Aow Leuk. With the white sandy beach and the water varying shades of blue, and Shark Island in the background, Aow Leuk is one of the most popular sites for snorkelling in Koh Tao. Our last stop will be Freedom Beach, where the water is crystal clear. You can relax and enjoy the end of the snorkel tour. At night we will have dinner in Sairee, after that you have the night for yourself.

You will some free time after breakfast in the morning, then we will start our Koh Tao scooter tour. Koh Tao is by far one of the most fun islands to ride a scooter.  We will travel on dirt roads and trails, as the island’s hilly landscape means many of the wonderful locations will take you off-road visiting some amazing viewpoints. We will also visit a beach or two. We will have a late lunch with beautiful views over Shark Bay. At night we watch the fire shows and dance on the beach at Lotus Bar.

After breakfast in Koh Tao, we will take the ferry to Koh Phangan. You will have the day & night to yourself to get to know Haad Rin and relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. It will be a good idea to get some rest as the next night is the massive Full Moon Party.

You should be nice and rested this day. After breakfast, we will go on our scooter tour. We will start our tour by driving to the northeastern side of Koh Phangan and visit the unbelievably stunning Thong Nai Pan. This double bay comprised of Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai is breath-taking, with the bays surrounded by an amphitheatre of steep rock invoking a secluded atmosphere. The sand is soft and white & the water is clear. We will spend some time here relaxing & swimming. After that, we will go north to Maehaad Bay. We will go to the Tree House for some drinks and you have the option to have lunch here. After that, we will explore Haad Salad & Haad Yao. We will stop for sundowners at Amsterdam Bar on the way back for the best sunset view in all of Thailand. At night you will experience the biggest beach party you have ever seen. In the twilight, tables are lined up on the beach and thousands of small lamps are lit to create an incredible ambience. Fire dancers, jugglers, fireworks displays, and thousands of beautiful people from around the world will keep your eyes busy throughout the evening. As for your ears, the DJs play deep into the morning with music ranging from drum and bass and hard house to commercial dance and reggae. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Koh Phangan’s full moon party meets the loftiest of expectations while giving you something to tick off your party bucket list.

This will be a full off day. You can do whatever you want. You will most probably be tired after the Full Moon Party, so it will be best to relax on the beach and take in the beauty of the island.

We will have a lazy morning with some free time after breakfast, then we will go do the fun stuff on the island. The Challenge Phangan is a heart-racing test of your physical ability and bravery, as you tackle the collection of obstacles on water, at least making your wipe-outs entertaining for spectators. It is situated on a lake in the middle of the island.  The party piece is The Blob, which launches you into the air with very little control over your desperately flailing limbs, and also possibly the most fun thing to do in the universe. At night we will enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere of Haad Rin beach.

After breakfast, we will start our travel back to Phuket. We will take the ferry, then a bus to Phuket. You will have some free time in Phuket when we arrive. At night we will have our final dinner together, where we can share our experiences of the tour. This will also be your last chance to take on Bangla Road.

We will have our final breakfast together. You will have a half day in Phuket to get all your final shopping done, then we will head to the airport and travel back to South Africa.
